The only major difference that occurs within their bodies is in terms of the sexual organs that they have. Thus, illustrations of woman anatomy would refer to the detailed summary of these female reproductive parts. This anatomy can be understood by dividing the entire reproductive system into two entities, the external organs and the internal sex organs.

Now, in this case, as far the external reproductive organs are concerned, it is vulva, which is actually a group that comprises all of the sexual organs within one single unit. This area starts from the pubic bone and then ends up at the anus. In the front part, there is a rounded fat filled part that is known as the monos pubis. Labia majora and homologue to male scrotum are basically the two different sides of vulvas and they spread from the monos pubic to the posterior opening that is found in the vagina. Labia minora are the two very small and reddish folds of the tissues, which are considered to be thinner and smaller than the labia majora. Then, there is the hymen, which is basically a combination of the elastic and the connective tissues. At last, there is a central erectile structure found at the front area of the opening that is there in vagina. This is known as the clitoris.
