The people on the Australian continent are frequently called as Aborigines. Basically, Aborigine is a word to describe the native people of Australia, who have rich traditional art and culture practiced from several centuries. Tourists visiting Australia enjoy the most at places and galleries where classic aboriginal art exhibits.

People love to go places where aboriginal art is displayed more prominently like galleries, renowned locations of aboriginal arts such as caves consisting of marvelous rock paintings. Aboriginal art covers different forms of crafts & arts, which includes extensive collection of modern arts. The aboriginal modern art do not comes at low prices, art such as canvases especially the larger ones are high in cost because of the unique color combination, composition and shape. Also, the modern aboriginal art is reducing and the numbers of people practicing this are small.

Rock art is the finest example of the traditional aboriginal art. This art can be seen throughout Australia painted with dots, designs and figures by the aborigines. The typical sample of rock art can be found inside the caves that still exist and it is unfortunate that the exposed rock art has been washed out with time. It is assumed that the rock art was practiced only by males at that time. Some of the large rock art designs are truly astonishing and signify the importance of this art for the people in that period. The aboriginal rock art sites at many places have been closed. Many of these sites are under threat of getting abolished. Aboriginal women were specialized in fiber arts. Textiles adapt the aboriginal art to design linen and clothes. For the daily purposes, repeated styles and designs were used to craft textiles and for ceremonies too. Women were also involved in sewing, weaving baskets and jewelry. The modern textile work is found to be astonishing.
