Ballroom dances are extremely famous in many countries. The grace and style associated with ballroom shows have made it very popular among the rich and elite sections of the society. It has its roots in Germany. Ballet dances on the other hand originated in France and Russia. It has a more formal appeal with numerous technical terminologies to master. Breakdance, hip hop and tap dances have an informal appeal. Anyone who wants to shake a leg can try out these dances. Michael Jacksons is probably one of the most popular dancers in the breakdance industry. “Downrock” and “Freeze” are some of the common breakdances performed these days. Hip hop on the other hand is a type of street dance. The costumes are extremely colorful. The dance itself is full of life and vibrancy. Tap dance as the name suggests lead to the tapping of the feet. This in turn forms a tap sound on the floor.
