The Big Bang theory was mainly written to explain how the universe came into existence. There has to be a logical explanation other than the belief that god created the universe. We live in a big mass of gas and there is a logical explanation to where the gas came from and how the earth came into existence. |
The Big Bang theory has the most logical explanation of how the universe came into existence and it as not meant to oppose the church or anyone’s religious beliefs. Until a few decades ago the kid sin school were taught that god created the universe, and today kids are given more profound explanation and introduction to what exactly Big Bang theory is.
Discoveries made by astronomers and physics show that there is a reason why we have a universe. The universe could have come into existence nearly 13.7 millions of years ago. The Big Bang theory explains that a huge cloud that was full of gases burst under the weight and force of its own gravitational force. Due to it, it split into several masses of gas and that is how so many planets and stars were formed. Several of the stars that we see in the night sky are masses of gases. However, how exactly the sun and the planets formed is still to be discovered.
There are several misconceptions about the Big Bang theory also. We imagine it to be one big explosion and then smaller planets were formed. However, the fact is that it was in fact one huge balloon which was releasing the contents in smaller quantities into the universe.
