We all know several facts about our universe today. However, one fact which kept bothering astronomers and physicists is that how the entire universe came into existence. The fact that God created universe was simply not acceptable as there was no logical explanation to that. There has to be some truth somewhere about the creation and existence of the universe. The Big Bang theory is an attempt to explain the evolution of the universe. |
So the theory basically claims that the universe was not created but it evolved. Scientists know that the universe is made of gas and particles. Much of the particle matter found in the universe is found one earth, sun and all other planets. Logically they all evolved from one similar source.
The Big Bang theory could have taken place nearly 15 billion years ago. However, the theory that the universe is not infinite is not entirely true anymore but also at the same time the theory is unable to explain the start and the end of the universe. The Big Bang, however, played a very important role in laying the foundation for the universe.
However, what was there before the Big Bang occurred is another mystery yet to be solved. One possible explanation that physicist have is that time itself could have started after the Big Bang happened. However, the galaxies were not all bunched up together, but they reached great distances with the velocity they held and that is why they are so far apart in the universe.
