Learning to drive a car can be easy if you are willing to concentrate on it. Learning to drive should be done right the first time. However, the level of easiness basically depends on the amount of road sense you have. When you go for an exam for the driver’s license, all that matters to the officials is how well you follow the traffic rules, and not how well you drive the car. |
To drive an automatic car, you basically need to know how to handle the steering wheel and also the controls. Whereas driving the stick shift needs some expertise and practice.
So, before learning to drive a car get yourself acclimatized with the traffic rules, speed limits, and also learn to respect the road rules and the lane changing methods. The driving lessons always revolve around traffic rules. So it is easier if you know what these rules are.
When you are driving always stick to one lane, and keep the car steering wheel straight. The automatic car is one of the easiest cars to drive. There are two to three types of controls you need to know. One is to put the car in D which means you are ready to drive. If you put the gear in N, it means you are idling the car or putting it in neutral. If you put the gear in R, it means you are about to reverse or back up the car.
These are some simple terminologies that you need to know when you are about to learn driving.
