People around the world are born with different abilities and backgrounds. Especially when they are small, that is when they are getting their education done; they have to be dealt with differently to make sure that whatever is being taught is going inside each of their brains. Here comes the need for Literature Based Approach in play. |
Literature based approach is one of the most proven methods of teaching. There are many things which a child has to learn whether or whether not he takes interest in those things or he thinks they are going to help him in the future. Such things look mundane to him and however hard they try, they fail to grasp the meaning of it. When a literature based approach is taken for these types of so-called problematic pieces, a clear understanding begins to dawn upon the students. This approach makes the children relate that particular difficulty with a real life example or something with which he can relate to. This method also helps in attracting the child’s attention, engaging him to a seemingly uninteresting topic. And it is when someone begins to get the general picture of any topic, will he start thinking about analyzing it part by part. Also, if applied properly, this Literature Based Approach can mould a child’s character in various ways, like in terms of speaking, reading, writing and listening.
Thus, it is obvious that sometimes, mere curriculum-based text materials are not enough. To get the child’s interest through Literature Based Approach, one has to take aid of supporting materials like reference books, pictures, flow charts, etc. this is one such method of teaching which can be applied to any sort of student, irrespective of their creed, sex, race, color, mental abilities, etc.More Articles :
