Branches Of Physics

Physics involves the study of objects and their behavior. Objects are inanimate things, and even they have motion and states, but no life. Physics mainly deals with matter and it may be any kind of matter related to natural science. Physics studies different aspects of matter like its motion through space, the time taken, and the energy and force it takes to move. So, physics is involved with analyzing the nature and understanding how the world and universe behave.

In fact, physics is one of the oldest kinds of studies, and is a major part of astronomy. Physics has existed as long as philosophy or chemistry has existed. Mathematics and biology actually came much later. Physics is also used in mathematics and quantum chemistry. Also, the application of physics is carried to several other disciplines, and the boundaries are not defined.

Physics is divided into many branches of studies based on its application. The understanding of physics translates into several technologies and that is why it is difficult to define its boundaries. There are several concepts in physics like electromagnetism, thermodynamics, heat, momentum, and quantum physics. Even calculus is actually an offshoot of physics.

Some of the known branches of physics are study of condensed matter, atomic physics, molecular physics and optical physics. High energy and particle matter physics are also branches along with astrophysics. These branches are further divided into their own classes based on their classifications.

Physics covers the study of all the inanimate objects in the world and the universe. Even how the smallest article behaves is related to the study of physics.

Collision-In-Physics      A collision in physics is defined as an event in which two moving bodies collide with each other and create energy; they can exert strong forces in a relatively short period of time. Collision involves energy and force which is propelled using velocity. Collision can also take place with elastic material during which the objects involved conserve energy and force. More..
