Learning is a process that can lead to a permanent or potential change in behavior. In other words, when a human being learns something, they will either adapt to it immediately or eventually. For example, if you have learnt to use the calculator, you may start using it immediately for all your calculations or you may eventually figure it out or get used to using it. That is how children learn to use things, by learning. |
Every time we learn something, our perception changes and so does our environment. The way we perceive our surrounding environment changes. When we gain knowledge of a new thing, it stimulates the brain and we start adding more dimensions to our thoughts. Learning has a direct impact on our thought process and also behavior. This is a psychologically established fact.
Without learning, the human mind can become inactive and invalid. It is extremely important to learn, and it actually is a self conscious process of our mind. We notice new colors, new things, or abnormal things attract our attention. All these are a process of learning. The brain knows how to identify things you know based on your memory, and also segregate the things you do not know. It also entices an interest in things you do not know. For example, when you read the newspaper, you may read about a new place to travel to for a holiday. Your brain may entice you to learn more about this new place that you never heard of. When you further read about the place you know more. However, at this point your have a different perception about the place, but when you visit the place, you will end up forming a completely different picture.
