Child custody case is a judicial course of action that is taken after a mutual divorce is over. Parents fight child custody case when they do not want to share the rights if their children or do not want to give access of the children to the other parent. In most cases, when both parents are normal, the custody of children has to be shared and both the parents have to playa an equal role in their upbringing. However, in some cases one of the parents is not agreeable to have the other parent share the responsibilities, then they file a child custody case. |
Looking at the statistics of child custody cases in the United States of America it is quite a worrisome fact actually. Also such cases have a negative impact on the children.
When it comes to the fathers in child custody cases, more than ninety percent of fathers do not have complete access to their children. Also, statistics show around 90 percent of the kids who run away from homes at young age are the ones that do not have a father. Nearly 47 percent of fathers have absolutely no visitation rights when it comes to child custody. This is a very sad state of affairs and also single parenting is not all that beneficial. The problems are that many women think that the role of a father is not at all important in the child's upbringing. On the contrary, a father’s influence in a child's life is as important as a mother.
