Women and men are equally prone to heart diseases. It affects one in every three people and here are several reasons why heart diseases occur in people. One of the Min causes is a poor lifestyle habit. In the US, a person suffers from heart risks every thirty-four seconds. Everyday over 2,500 people die in the US because of heart diseases. Every year nearly 250,000 people die due to heart attacks. Statistics also show that it is the under educated people who are more at risk from heart attacks. |
The United States still does not rank on the top for heart risks compared to other countries like Soviet Union and Poland. Even the access to medical facility has a role to play in heart risks. If a heart attack patient does not get help immediately in a hospital then it will lead to death.
For the last two decades, heart diseases have been number one killer in the US. Cancer and other life-threatening conditions only come later. Smoking and alcohol also increase the rate of heart risks. The number of women who are being diagnosed is increasing exponentially every year.
Heart disease and smoking are directly related to each other. The numbers of women who smoke are also increasing statistically due to which the risk of heart rate is also much higher. Obesity and the lack of exercise also increase the risk of heart diseases in people. Right now, men and women are both equally exposed to heart risks and disorders.
