The world statistics show that every person does some amount of physical activity everyday. We have 1440 minutes in a day and out of that we can dedicate 30 minutes for ourselves for exercise. However, only 40 percent of the people have a planned physical activity like exercise in gym, or walking and running. |
Regular exercise is very important for staying healthy. People can have a healthy heart and also they can be active longer and feel better. Problems like obesity can be kept at bay. Exercise is a routine and a person needs to be disciplined to develop this routine in their life.
Regular exercise can help us fight serious diseases like cancer, blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, overweight and many other conditions. There is a form of exercise for every kind of condition in the world. All adults require a minimum of thirty minutes of continuous activity on a daily basis, or at least 4 to 5 days in a week. That is how they progress. It is also a lot of fun and we stay motivated in our life.
The key to exercising is to determine what kind of exercise is right for you. For some people, yoga may suit better and for some, gym based exercises like aerobics and tread mill walking could suit more. Walking and running are a universal exercise that suits everyone in the world.
If one were to see statistics on physical fitness, it would paint a gray picture. People do not believe in physical fitness primarily due to their chaotic and hectic lifestyles. However, they do not realize how they are harming themselves by leading an unhealthy and sedentary life.
